Why UNIIQU3 Is Called the Queen of Jersey Club
Newark's UNIIQU3 went from classically trained pianist to a DJ who tours North America, Europe and Asia. Sampling is at the center of how she works.

UNIIQU3 came up in Newark's club scene in the early 2010s with a background most club DJs don't have: classical piano. She learned production and sampling on a keyboard, and you can hear that musical training in how her tracks are built.
Her career so far
Her 2018 single "Microdosing" was a breakout. The same year she made "Off the Chain" with TT The Artist, produced by Mighty Mark. She has remixed Chloe Bailey and Aluna George, and her Jersey club remix was part of Chloe Bailey's Coachella performance. She has toured with Tinashe, curated the TECHNO IS BLACK playlist on Spotify and plays regularly across North America, Europe and Asia.
How she uses samples
In 2024 she appeared in Serato's Hometown Sounds series with Just Blaze and Rah Digga. For it, she flipped Rah Digga's "Party & Bullshit 2003," a Just Blaze production, into a Jersey club track. She works with modern tools like Serato Sample and its stem separation, but the goal is the same as it always was in the club: find the part of a record that gets a room moving.
“It's just so dope to be behind the decks and have everybody in unison for that one moment.”
Back in 2014 she described Jersey club as "your morning coffee and your midnight Red Bull." A decade later she is still one of the people making sure that's true.
